The Oceanic Federation

(Blurb from the Map): In the face of an ever more aggressive China and an isolationist United States the nations of Australia and New Zealand decided to banded together create The Oceanic Federation, sharing a common currency, passport, foreign policy and government. Over the next 15 years, the Federation would continue to expand its borders to encompass Papua New Guinea, the Solomon Islands, Vanuatu, Fiji, and East Timor. The Oceanic Federation has experienced economic prosperity over the last decade caused by a growing demand for Australian natural resources in China and cementing itself as a regional financial center. Although the future looks bright there is  the looming threat of an extremely Islamic Indonesia which has proven itself a security threat on several occasions with a botched invasion of East Timor and rumors of a nuclear weapons program, the Federation will been kept on its feet by the Indonesians for the foreseeable future.
